brought a terrible pestilence on the Snub, the poo poo wind."

"The poo poo wind is caused by the weather." laughed Larco.

"Uhhh, a scientist, he laughed, this cannot be, we're doomed."

Larco thought there should be a word for the members of the council, whom no longer used their brain, but he didn't know one, he had heard words about such behaviour on the planet Plop Plop, when he had his head in the dark hole of the rainbows. He was determined to go there and find out what these words were, and how to use them. But he was focusing on the Quog. "Where can I find one of these Quog?"

"Ohhh, thousands of palliums ago they existed on the dark side, no one has seen them, they only exist as the poo poo wind."

"I'm going to find one." said Larco. "If I use a small orange rock and don't stay near it very long, I won't get sick."

The council ran around in circles chanting and groaning, they ran off into the jungle and Larco was left alone.

He walked to the dark wall near the cave, and asked some other Snubs on the way to accompany him, they ran away.

Larco ventured deep into the dark side, he left a trail of orange rocks, then deep in the darkness, the rocks turned blue, he felt wonderful near the blue rocks, and he picked up as many as he could carry, and took them to the sunny side, they glowed in the sun. He was very excited, he didn't know what that was. He took them into the cave and put them in the pool, they made a humming noise and splashed rainbow colours about the water.

It was the time of the poo poo wind, it lasted for a few pecks and Larco took refuge in the cave. The cave began to fill with Snubs, they had followed and watched him, and they were good at copying other Snubs, as that's how they learnt.

The wind after many pecks finally turned to a light warm breeze, but left a blanket of hard water, it turned white when hard, Larco had seen this on the blue planet Plop Plop in the dark hole of rainbows, and heard them call it snow. The beings he saw on Plop Plop, were very ugly, long legs and arms with a small head, he didn't like to think of it, and it made him feel sick. But they had lots of words Snubs didn't have. Some of the beings acted like the Wobbly's running around moaning and groaning, he remembered when he thought hard, they called them silly.

The Snubs in the cave ventured out after the poo poo wind, it was glorious, they were still warm, the sun had come out and they walked around looking for the grand council Wobbly's. In their panic, the Wobbly's of the grand council had run into the black swamp, frozen in the poo poo wind, and perished destined for compost.

Larco remembered the words of the Wobbly's, he was going to look for the emotions wherever they may live now, make lots of caves with Quog rocks in them, and think a lot harder about how to travel to the blue planet Plop Plop in the dark rainbow hole.

He remembered the hollow log and the Quog flying into the sky, the Snubs that took shelter in the cave looked to Larco for guidance. They began to think, and things began to change.

As the story of Larco and the Quog comes to an end, another starts, for the more Larco learnt of his planet, the less he knew. Now he had many questions, what happened to the Quog, are they in the rocks, where are the emotions, and where do they live now, why did the tree trunk fly away. Before the Quog he had no questions, he was just a Snub, now he was Larco the scientist, and he was keen to find out what it was all about.
